Structure of a Composite Hollow Insulator with Built-in Fiber Optic Cable for AC Voltage 35–1200 kV and DC Voltage ±400–±1100 kV

Product Application:
Fiber-optic current transformers, electronic current transformers, and other high-voltage electrical devices for smart grid systems use this product for insulation and signal transmission.

Product Structure:
Mainly consists of a built-in optical transmission fiber, epoxy fiberglass-reinforced plastic tube, high-temperature liquid silicone rubber (LSR) housing, and a metal flange.

Features:
  1. Made of non-brittle materials, offering excellent explosion-proof performance, ensuring the safety of both equipment and personnel.
  2. The high-temperature liquid silicone rubber shed assembly has strong hydrophobicity, effectively preventing contamination and rain ingress — the product is maintenance-free.
  3. Excellent tracking resistance (4.5 kV) and high resistance to electrical erosion.
  4. The inner layer of the fiberglass-reinforced plastic cylinder includes an insulation zone that prevents SF₆ decomposition products from entering, effectively improving operational reliability.
  5. The built-in optical fiber enables digital signal transmission with extremely low loss.
  6. Lightweight, with good impact resistance, making it easy to transport and install.
  7. Long service life, stable and reliable quality, and a short delivery cycle.
