Product Application:
Cable lines consist of cable bodies, intermediate joints, indoor and outdoor terminations, and other cable accessories. In terms of their connection with the cable, joints and terminations are collectively referred to as cable accessories.
In cable terminations and joints, the electric field distribution is much more complex than in the main cable body due to the discontinuity between the metallic sheath and the shielding layer. An axial electric field appears at the cable ends, making it necessary to use cable accessories (such as cold-shrink and heat-shrink terminations) to ensure the continuity, insulation, and sealing of the cable connection.
Essentially, these accessories are connecting devices that meet specific insulation and sealing performance requirements.
